Confident vs. Arrogant

All too often we see people thinking they’re acting in confidence when in reality, they’re being arrogant assholes.

All too often, they (the arrogant assholes) can’t tell the difference. When asked about their behavior, they say “I’m not arrogant, I’m confident.” And for some, they legitimately can’t tell the difference.

Well, here’s a simple way – Confidence is being convinced of how good you are. Arrogance is trying to convince others of how good you are. Confidence is internal focus, arrogance is external. Confidence is an conversation with one’s self, arrogance talks to everyone else.

Don’t be an asshole. Be confident.
